Donations & Volunteering
Get involved with MoW Wagga.
No referral, no assessment, no contract. Here’s exactly what happens when you get in touch — usually within a couple of days.
Volunteering
Our volunteers are the heart of Meals on Wheels Wagga. Whether you’ve got a spare hour once a week or a regular morning free, delivering meals is one of the simplest ways to make a real difference in someone’s day. You don’t need any special experience — just a reliable car, a friendly manner, and a willingness to knock on a door and say hello. Many of our volunteers tell us they get as much out of it as the people they’re delivering to; it’s a chance to get to know your local community and know that you’re genuinely needed.
Roles aren’t limited to driving, either — we’re often looking for help in the kitchen, with packing orders, at community lunches, or behind the scenes with admin and fundraising. Whatever time you can give and whatever you’re comfortable doing, we can usually find a way to fit you in. Get in touch and we’ll talk through what’s available and what suits you best.
Donations
By donating to Wagga Wagga Meals on Wheels, you can help us provide nutritious meals to seniors and adults with disabilities in our community. Your support enables us to continue our mission of promoting health, independence, and socialisation among those who need it most. With your help, we can ensure that our recipients receive the care and nourishment they deserve. Every donation makes a difference – no matter how big or small. We appreciate your generosity and thank you for your support.
